All game cancelations will be noted on the hotline. 934-6311.
You should check with that number if weather is a consideration.
Communication will mostly be via email, some through that line. Arrive 30 minutes before the match time. Here is a link to the CUSL playing rules for clarification on issues such as pay,
game length, Subs, misconduct handling & reporting. If a team doesn’t have the minimum number of players to play a match
(7 in 11 v 11 matches) at 10 minutes past the established game time, the game
shall be abandoned. Collect your fee from the team that is present. (both teams if
both have some people there) & divide it among the ref team accordingly.
(ref receiving more but no one gets the full amount as there may not be enough money.) If an AR is not present at the established game time you should pick up a “club linesman”.
Unless you know he/she is coming from another field. In that case make arrangments to
wait if possible. Ask the Home team to provide 1 then the away team if 2 are needed. If the
center is missing then 1 of the AR’s should step up if they feel comfortable with the game.
If that is not possible then the game may be abandoned. If there is a registered referee
present they must be used before a “club” but may not demand the center position & shall
not take the center position if they have an inappropriate relationship with one of the teams.

USSF Does not allow for the showing of a card to a carded, rostered coaches.
Simply tell them, "you are cautioned & receive a yellow card for xxx" CUSL does approve
of the showing of a card if that makes the situation & understanding of all more clear. If the
spectators are an issue, Stop the game at an appropriate time, Caution the head coach
& allow him appropriate (yet short) time to deal with his parents. The leagues ask that all “Red Card” send off offenses be reported to the league.
Report & player pass should be mailed within 48hrs. I ask that I be sent a simple email in all cases when a send off occurs. I also want you
to contact me in any case where a Thunder Metro coach, player or spectator needs dealt
with in terms of disent style behavior. Even if not always a carded action. Other “Yellow Card”
caution offenses I don’t care about. Most games at a certain level will have cards for game
management. I want to know about “behavior” problems. I have game reports on the cptr if needed. (Probably most of you will never need them)
Also make sure to check fees & times of your game. Throw ins. CUSL uses the policy that if 1 team is substituting then the other team may
also on that throw in. Subs are still supposed to be at Midline & you still cannot sub on
the other teams throw if they are not. BPYSL schedules its own refs & it procedures are very similar. If you end up on a game
or have that interest their website is http://www.buckeyepremier.com/ If you are doing State Cup be sure to check the osysa.com site for rules &
those reports go to Charlie Keaney. Rainout procedure. If you show up to a game you will be paid. If the game starts,
Keep the game fee from the teams. If it doesn't get started the club will reimburse you.
If your game gets rained out & has to be rescheduled, you should ref that match when
it is rescheduled. You will only be paid once per match. If you return for the "make up"
game it will not be paid. (But you are given priority on games & 1st shot at it & others.)
If you are new to the game the teams will pay you. TUMFC serves the Cincinnati Dayton, Ohio area including Lebanon,
